Duties
You will serve as a SECUIRTY SPECIALIST in the Navy Information Forces (NAVIFOR), N03S Security Division, Commander, United States Fleet Forces Command (USFF).
You will be responsible for assisting COMNAVIFOR Domain Security Managers in managing, directing and controlling the security programs of the facility to include general facilities protection, use of electronic access control, and intrusion alarms.
You will ensure proper physical safeguards for the protection and storage of classified material and equipment, access control and integrity of physical
facilities, maintain knowledge of all applicable directives, regulations, and manuals.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Insider Threat (InT) program, identifying challenges of detecting insider threats, initiating reports, implementation plans, and referring matters to law enforcement.
You will ensure Continuous Evaluation (CE) of all employees and across the organization's domain; and data sharing with Law Enforcement, Human Resources,
Labor Employee, and Cyber/Information Assurance agencies.
Requirements

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain CDSE Security Fundamental Professional Certification within 24 months of reporting.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
*Experience applying full knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles and practices to review independently, analyze, and
resolve difficult security problems.
*Experience utilizing strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements governing physical security, personnel security, information security, and force protection/ anti-terrorism, and oversight/ compliance inspection criteria.
*Experience understanding the Executive Orders and the DOD and DON directives that govern access to classified information, the DOD Physical Security Program, Insider Threat (InT) Program, and the DOD Antiterrorism/ Force Protection Program.
*Experience applying the process for designating secure spaces and fixed facilities.
*Experience establishing and maintaining the Insider Threat program and leading various threat working groups.
