You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Marine Corps Center for Learning and Faculty Development
(MCCLFD) of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will be responsible for assessment programs maintenance and management, and continuous evaluation and improvement of assessment programs.
You will guide and oversee; assessment programs and manages associated lesson materials used during self-study or facilitation.
You will operate web-based design tools such as the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS), Total Learning Architecture (TLA), and the Moodle Learning Management System, among others.
You will participate in planning and developing or evaluating and revising the curriculum for academic departments.
You will lead documentation and update assessment programs to include resource justifications, integrating learning guideposts for actions as means and reflections as aims, and coordinating learning assessment plans.
You will plan, coordinate, facilitate, and oversee assessment program review boards on recurring major reviews and respond to minor review updates that may generate a pen change
You will manage performance and written exam grading.
You will create, modify, and update written test items for a learning objective.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector designing assessment experiences, maintaining and managing assessment programs, oversees curricula assessment resources and cost, facilitate lessons within assessment programs; coordinate the activities of assessing learning and program performance for programs with academic accreditation, make recommends and executes long-range planning for life-cycle.
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reviewing assessment programs and materials organize and track data, include instructional media and performance/knowledge testing; assisting in the curriculum management process.

Education
GS-11 ONLY: In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify for the GS-11 position based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
