About the Position: This position serves as a Program Manager within the Mission Command Center of Excellence (MCCoE), Force Modernization Proponent Center (FMPC), Fort Leavenworth, KS.

Duties

As a Program Manager, you will perform duties to include but not limited to the following: Serves as the Deputy Director for the Force Modernization Proponent Center (FMPC) for all assigned roles, missions, functions, tasks, and operations. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the FMPC, providing direction, guidance, decision-making, and support to ensure effective, efficient, and synergistic functioning. Serves as Program Manager for the Deception and Operations Security (OPSEC) proponent offices providing oversight of portfolio activities. Provides leadership, professional guidance, advice, and assistance on senior-level military and civilian personnel management and administration.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance is required.
  • This position is covered by the civilian drug abuse testing program. Condition of employment for certain civilian positions identified as critical under the drug abuse testing program, or a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
  • Must submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, 30 August 1993.
  • The position requires extensive TDY travel (25%) in the accomplishment of duties and responsibilities.
