You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as Naval History and Heritage Command's Strategic Communication Officer, in the Communication and Outreach Division.
You will serve as subject matter expert in the area of corporate communication.
You will perform a full range of supervisory responsibilities.
You will plan and conduct sessions to facilitate the strategic planning process enterprise wide.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
Demonstrating responsibility for the management, planning, direction and execution of an organization's Strategic Communication and Planning program, operating without technical oversight, ensuring alignment and compliance with organization and higher level policies, and ensuring effective coordination with related efforts outside the organization;
Deviating from standard approaches or existing guidelines and exercising considerable judgment in analyzing general policy objectives and using them as a foundation for developing new approaches;
Managing enterprise-wide communication and/or Digital Engagement teams under normal and crisis situations;
Ensuring timely performance of work by subordinates and assuring quality standards are met;
Evaluating on-going actions and initiatives through customer feedback systems and bench-marking.
