You will serve as the Deputy Director for Public Affairs in the Team Submarine, Office of Strategic Communications, of Team Submarine (Team Sub) comprises four flag-officer led organizations: Program Executive Office (PEO) Strategic Submarine (PEO SSBN), PEO Attack Submarines (PEO SSN), PEO Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS); and the Direct Reporting Program Office, AUKUS Integration &Acquisition Office (AUKUS).
Duties
You will facilitate effective communications between management and various publics.
You will act as the principle advisor to the Director of Strategic Communications in public affairs, congressional relations, and internal communications for domestic relations, external interests, and international attention.
You will design, develop, and implement comprehensive strategic communications campaign plans and marketing strategies to enhance the Team Submarine programs and initiatives.
You will serve as the external facing member of Team Submarine in support of each PEO and DRPM, where appropriate.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector designing or developing strategic communication plans to facilitate communication for enhancement of programs or initiatives.
