You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Fleet Readiness Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Duties
You will serve as a consultant to program managers, associates and other support activities for obsolescence management and is a reliable source of information.
You will plan, schedule, and coordinate activities as part of a major project or complete project of considerable scope and complexity.
You will collect configuration, supply, obsolescence, and technical data; assimilate research, analyze; document and report system logistics and operational impacts.
You will research solutions to obsolescence issues.
You will review drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine solutions.
You will propose or evaluate modifications to the system, process, or equipment involved in order to extend the life of the system.
You will coordinate the day-to-day efforts of engineers, technicians, and logisticians in identifying and resolving issues for assigned programs.
You will develop, define, and/or apply improved techniques and methods to solve problems.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing logistics support (e.g., procurement, inventory control, management) to ensure supply and inventory for Operating Material and Supply compliance. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include demonstrated knowledge of procurement; supporting supply and inventory management; working with procurement systems e.g. PRT, SWMS and ERP.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.;
OR
Possession of an LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.
