You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the Communications and Combat System Modernization Plans Division, Communications and Information Systems Division of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.
Duties
You will evaluate requirements affecting emergent, complex issues and recommend potential alternatives to address interoperability concerns.
You will provide oversight of PACFLT C4I emerging interoperability and requirements issues by participating in conferences, coordinating demonstrations and providing briefs to meet requirements for COMPACFLT.
You will provide analysis of capabilities to weigh against cost and mission alignment as well as required safety impacts.
You will submit Memorandums for the Record (MFR) requesting SECNAV waivers or determinations to install C4I, Combat Systems, or Hull Mechanical and Electrical equipment on naval vessels within their respective decommissioning windows.
You will access policy needs, develop and implement policies to govern modernization activities and provide policy guidance to management, staff and customers.
You will maintain oversight of engineering, installation, operations and maintenance of on-base, ship-to-shore and DISN long-haul facilities and subsystems.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, WRC Product Support Manager, proficiency level Advanced. The incumbent is required to obtain/maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: formulating plans, including specifications and operational requirements, to modernize, integrate, and configure combat and communications information systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
