About the Position: Serve as a Program Analyst in providing program management support services for Army Unmanned Ground Systems and Robotics, development/acquisition/life cycle management projects; as directed, also assist in program management and support services for Army Armor and Infantry systems.
Duties
Translate programmatic requirements into specific project plans.
Provide advice and recommendations regarding program planning and funding management issues.
interpret broad policy and program directives and make recommendations of time-phasing of planning actions along with acquisition management actions.
Interact with external stakeholders from private industry, business, academia, other government agencies, and foreign allies, user's commands/proponent school and materiel developers.
Develop specific program planning data that incorporates cost analyses (e.g., will cost/should cost analyses, life cycle cost analyses).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- TDY of up to 10% may be assigned.
- This is a testing designated position. Personnel must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing, thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9.
- Top Secret (SCI) Clearence required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Delivering Robotics strategic messaging to various agencies for program planning specifics; participating in negotiations adopting plans that support Unmanned Ground Systems, Robotics, Armor and Infantry Program objectives; developing program planning data incorporating cost analyses and projections; detecting project funding deficiencies identifying project consequences; and analyzing opposing requirements to develop schedules and reallocation of Agency resources.
