About the Position: This is a military technician position with the 79th Sustainment Support Command, 451st Expeditionary Sustainment Command located at Wichita, Kansas. Duties

Prepare and submit data for budget formulation. Recommend final decision on expenditure requests. Prepare guidance on operation and training activities to ensure compliance with training quota requirements. Develop mobilization training plans for approval by senior leadership. Conduct inspections or reviews to evaluate training operations. Evaluate training plans and schedules to develop the Command's training program. Advise senior leadership on use of automated training systems.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).
  • This position requires a Personnel Security Investigation.
  • This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • This position is subject to the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
  • This position is subject to Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Organizational Management and Leadership, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Management. (Note: you must attach your transcripts with your application package). OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
