The position is located in the Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of NextGen (ANG). This is a standardized Student Trainee position which can be used in any ANG organization.

Duties

The student trainee will work in a team setting with professionals from various disciplines. The student will apply analytical and communication skills sufficient to select and modify appropriate methods of operations and analyze and interpret results. The student will demonstrate the ability to prepare reports and briefings to communicate information to various audiences and will support the development of standards and policies necessary to maintain the elements of the FAA's aviation systems.

• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications

FV-C: To qualify for the FV-C, you must be currently enrolled full time or at least half time in an accredited educational institution (college, university, vocational school, trade school, etc.) and show completion of 1 full academic year of post-high school studying Psychology.
