This position serves as the Realty Officer for the Division of Facilities Management (DFACM) of the Office of Environmental Health and Engineering (OEH&E). The incumbent is responsible for managing and directing an Area-Wide real property program involving IHS leasing programs for tribal and private sector facilities. This position will report to the Division of Facilities Management Director. This position may be "Telework" eligible.
Duties
Provide oversight responsibilities in all real property principles, concepts, and practices.
Track the asset value and maintain accurate accountability of all government-owned facilities.
Develop facilities certification statements regarding historical and environmental issues on all real property disposal actions.
Develop easements, revocable licenses, use permits, and rights-of-way for use of federal property by other federal agencies, tribal organizations, state or local governments, or other non-federal entities.
Prepare and submit annual budget projections for leased space costs and identify new program requirements for additional leases.
Qualifications

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: managing a real property program which includes negotiating for the acquisition of property; managing acquisition through lease of commercial interests, office space, and other real property; transfer of real property to Tribes and Tribal Organizations; development and policy implementation of real property activity; tracking asset value and maintaining an accurate accountability of all government-owned facilities; and managing Federal lease planning and acquisition documentation.
