You will serve as a COMMUNITY ANALYST in the Government External Affairs (GEA) of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
Duties
You will provide oral and written communication methods and techniques to develop and maintain effective community liaison functions for the organization.
You will develop Navy correspondence requirements, point papers, position papers, and reporting communication.
You will analyze proposals to achieve mission objectives.
You will provide responses to noise complaints and provide recommendations to the command.
You will prepare administrative information on land use to assist in the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the command.
You will review, draft, and provide input on external information to implement the Encroachment Control Plan (ECP) for the installation.
You will develop and maintain a tracking system on real estate actions related to acquisitions, restrictive easements disposal, and use of other government land.
You will assist in preparation of briefings and presentations for visiting general officers, local, state, federal elected officials, and civic groups.
You will participate and collaborate on appropriate projects, programs, events, and activities to gain early information concerning future development plans which might affect Marine Corps operations.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative coordination and analysis on a wide variety of information; preparing and disseminating briefings, articles, or resource materials; and developing and maintaining tracking systems.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
or
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Percentage of the required education plus percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
