This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Region, Anadarko Agency, Branch of Real Estate Services in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Duties
Responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the most economically feasible administrative practices and procedures for the execution of trust real estate services, by providing coordination, technical assistance, and review and monitoring services within the agency and to other branches within the agency, tribal organizations, and individual Indian landowners.
Improve the economic status of Indian landowners and discharges the government's trust responsibility to manage, utilize, preserve, conserve, and protect Indian trust resources.
Plan, develop, and implement a trust real estate services program to accomplish the timely and efficient processing of applications for patents, removal of restrictions, disposals, acquisitions, rights-of-way, surface, and subsurface leasing and permitting.
Coordinate with and monitor the activities of the Agency's natural and cultural resources programs to ensure the protection, development, and wise utilization of all Indian owned trust land in accordance with Federal law, policies, and procedures.
Continually analyze and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the entire program, initiating action necessary for more efficient operation.
Plan, develop, and implement training for all functions of the real estate services program that may include patents, removal of restrictions, disposals, acquisitions, rights-of-way, surface, and subsurface leasing and permitting, lease compliance and unresolved rights cases, and coordinates training relating to environmental and cultural resources compliance, automated systems, and to utilize data from all information systems.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions, GS-1170).
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-12: I have at least 1 year of specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-11 in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector). Specialized experience includes providing oversight of realty and probate functions for a unit planning work to be accomplished; respond to technical inquires and explaining realty services for a wide range of real estate principles, concepts, and practices as well as a good understanding of the real estate market to manage federally controlled and Indian owned property; maintain and retrieve information from automated systems; meeting deadlines; reviewing work for completeness, correctness, consistency, compliance, or authenticity; know, interpret, and apply federal, state, tribal, and local regulations; is knowledgeable of the laws, regulations, etc., that govern trust assets; and apply applicable laws, regulations, etc., in handling trust assets. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
