About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W6NFAA US ARMY MANEUVER CENTER OF EXCELLENCE.
Duties
Serves as Supervisor, Intelligence Division, Directorate of Intelligence and Security/G2, Fort Moore, GA, providing both administrative and technical supervision of intelligence analysts.
Supervises intelligence production of reports and briefings addressing current and projected battlefield threat to system survivability or mission effectiveness in support of government and contractor research, development, test, and evaluation.
Resolves personnel conflicts by applying effective problem-solving techniques and maintaining team cohesion.
Identifies emerging trends in foreign military operations and deliver threat briefings to senior leaders.
Ensure integration of intelligence to the materiel acquisition process for current and projected battlefield threat to system survivability or mission effectiveness in support of government and contractor research, development, test, and evaluation.
Evaluates program requirements and recommend adjustments to fiscal plans to meet operational goals.
Tracks and report on resource usage to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
Participates in interagency working groups related to current and projected threat developments, threat input to test planning, foreign counterpart systems and technology, foreign material acquisition and exploitation, and organizational subjects.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI access.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Temporary duty is 25% or less of the time.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:
1. Experience analyzing intelligence reports to assess foreign military threats. AND
2. Experience conducting research on and preparing intelligence products for: current operating environment, battlefield threats, and foreign systems. AND
3. Experience reviewing and validating intelligence products to ensure accuracy, consistency, and applicability to assigned programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-13).
Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
