About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. Position is located at Fort Moore, United States Army post near Columbus, Georgia, adjacent to the Alabama-Georgia border. Home to the Maneuver Center of Excellence, Army Infantry School and Army Armor School.

Duties

Serves as Supervisor, Intelligence Division, Directorate of Intelligence and Security/G2, Fort Moore, GA. Responsible for planning and supervising all operations, administrative, logistical, fiscal, personnel, and training requirements of the division. Serves as the Intelligence and threat subject matter expert for the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence G-2. Reviews completed work for technical accuracy and for compliance. Responsible for the effective use of assigned personnel as well as for the quality and quantity of finished work. Plans work flow and makes work assignments, adjusting workloads, and adapting or modifying procedures to alleviate backlogs or delays and ensuring deadlines are met. Directs on-the-job training for employees and provides back-up skills by cross training.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI access.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Temporary duty is 25% or less of the time.
• Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08) upon entry of duty and annually thereafter.

Failure to remain in this position may result in separation for the efficiency of the Federal Service (5 USC, Ch.752). Incumbent may be required to take part in readiness exercises and training (Basic first aid; Basic soldier field survival skills; Laws of War/Geneva Conventions; Prisoner of War coping skills; Standards of Conduct; Proper wear, use and care of all issued clothing and equipment; Uniform Code of Military Justice; Customs and courtesies of host country; Sidearm training, when appropriate).
