You will serve as a SUPERVISORY AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the PRODUCTION DIVISION-TRANSPORTATION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary.

Duties

You will be leading the operations sections in meeting its long and short-range operational goals. You will provide operational advice to the PLTM for business process improvements. You will assists the PLTM with developing, monitoring, evaluating and revising instructions, directives and policies related to the operations and the management of vehicle inventory. You will provide the necessary support to maintain the Assistant Operations Officer decision making authority when emergent requirements necessitate resource movement within their authority

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting or assisting with data and trends analysis to manage Transportations annual budgeting process;2) Recommending solutions to unusual variances (e.g. excesses, deficiencies); 3) Providing overall direction of the Transportation section to include; setting assignments/schedules, evaluating performance, and providing instruction etc.; and4) Managing the master vehicle inventory to include analyzing utilization, redirecting assets as needed, and assigning new vehicles to meet mission requirements Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
