You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the Staffing and Employment Division of NAVFAC OSF.
Duties
You will analyze data (e.g., demographics, metrics, timeliness, turnover) from human resources information systems to identify trends or anomalies.
You will advise stakeholders on recruitment strategies for attracting the best qualified candidates for vacant positions.
You will write point papers to justify or defend decisions related to human resources or workforce programs.
You will develop strategies to align human resources policies with an organization's mission and goals.
You will plan the phases of workforce shaping with key participants.
Requirements

- You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Interpreting, drafting, and implementing personnel policies for staffing and employment programs; 2) Executing recruitment, reassignment and other personnel actions in accordance with federal laws, policies, rules and regulations; 3) Providing strategic advice and guidance to management regarding recruitment, hiring, compensation, and retention strategies; and 4) Resolving problems, answering questions and providing guidance to employees and management on complex recruitment, staffing, compensation, workforce shaping issues utilizing human resource tools and systems.
