About the Position: Serves as Project Manager responsible for the management, control, coordination, and execution of projects in the Directorate portfolio.

Duties

Develop project plans and schedule in project management software and integrates all projects in the directorate to develop integrated schedules for all divisions and functional areas. Determine the resources to devote to particular projects involving a significant portion of the organization’s budget. Implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of projects. Review status of programs and provide guidance and recommend actions for functional managers to facilitate the effective resolution of technical problems, conflicts, and controversial issues, ensuring that program issues are quickly resolved. Coordinate Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) with impacted parties and stakeholders. Present conclusions and recommendations for assuring efficiency and balance in the development and execution of directorate programs. Make recommendations for depot programming decisions affecting long and short-range courses of action for assigned projects. Monitors mission and program workload and provides input to directorate operating budget related to all projects. Analyze projects work progress, and workload accomplishment against objectives, resources, and standards to evaluate effectiveness of completing project within planned schedule and budget.
