You will serve as a Planner and Estimator (Sheet Metal) in the FRC Mid Atlantic of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.

Duties

You will coordinate proposed plans for compatibility with routine sheet metal shop assignments. You will develop a qualification plan to account for required skills necessary to perform future sheet metal work. You will review quality and quantity of sheet metal work by means of reports, discussions, and periodic spot checks. You will analyze projects and outline solutions for continuing even workload.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Gathering and interpreting information regarding the control of production and make recommendations for aircraft after material examination and for incorporation of technical directives during aircraft rework. Interpreting blueprints, manuals and technical materials related to position. Preparing detailed work orders for accomplishment of repairs, modifications and rework of aircraft. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
