You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst within the FAA, Air Traffic Organization, Western Service Center, Operations Support Group, AJV-W240.
Duties
Provides a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the conduct of projects and studies of substantive functions to improve the overall work operations of the organization assigned. Assignments cover one or more of the following functional areas: program planning, execution and control (i.e., program/system planning and evaluation, program performance measurement); management improvement and control (i.e., quality management, organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, delegation of authority, goals and objectives, and records and information management); and business management.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- A recent SF-50 is required (See Required Documents for requirements)
- Interviews maybe conducted.
Qualifications
To qualify for the FG-12, you must demonstrate in our application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G, FG/GS-11 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience includes: general knowledge of the National Airspace System (NAS), air traffic procedures, community involvement, data analysis. Experience in writing staff studies, congressional letters and reviewing or creating data driven presentations.
