About the Position: Logistics Management Specialist (Supply Chain Analyst) in Army Materiel Command (AMC). The Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to assess the command's supply chain performance, coordinate and draft the command's strategic guidance, and support supply chain planning.
Duties
Validate supply chain data accuracy, analyzes system and functional capability, and remediates issues to resolve data quality and compatibility issues.
Analyze aggregated operational and statistical data and reports to determine functional trends, the efficiency of operations, and the effect on future resource requirements.
Provide analytical and technical expertise to support recurring AMC strategy meetings with senior command leaders and providing analytical support to validate supply chain segmentation logic and other strategic guidance.
Coordinate funding for AMC requirements by consolidating LCMC budgets to distribute funding and monitor budget performance.
Update and shift budget authority to best accommodate AMC requirements in year of execution.
Develop courses of action and provide authoritative analysis to HQ AMC Functional Leads to support new or improved supply chain policies, functional strategy, processes, guidance, or improvement initiatives.
Requirements

- Data Analytics, level two (2) certification within 24 months of being placed on the position.
- Secret security clearance.
- Acquisition Certification, Advanced level, within 4 years of job entry

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Performing analysis of supply chain, investigating performance trends, identifying the root cause(s) of any performance issues, and recommending solutions to improve supply chain performance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
