About the Position: Branch Chief for the Logistics Information Systems Division responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities relating to logistics enterprise integration.
Duties
Develop and direct policy in support of all facets of logistics enterprise integration for business systems.
Point of contact on DA/AMC prototype system design, development, testing, and evaluation covering different life cycle phases including concept, proof-of-principle, and operational.
Provide data in support of assigned logistical initiatives, to include concepts analysis for automated data approaches with existing logistical systems.
Lead Major Subordinate Command (MSC) and assigned Business Area Lead in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated materiel management and logistics support processes.
Assign work and establish priorities based on the difficulty and requirements of assignments.
Develop performance standards and evaluates the performance of employees.

Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One-year supervisory probation period may be required.

- Acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced level, within 4 years of job entry.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
