About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR), Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville.

Duties

Arrange for the testing of the Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) clinical members to ensure continued credibility of the clinical treatment program. Prepare and update charts of monthly statistics for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required. Operate independently, referring only unusually difficult or policy related matters to the supervisor for assistance. Perform related clerical and administrative assignments in support of the drug testing program by establishing and maintaining all records and files as required by DA regulations.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ComplianceOral CommunicationTechnical CompetenceWriting Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
