About the Position: This position is with the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville.

Duties

Provide direct administrative services support to the Office of the Chief in the Operations and Maintenance Division, Directorate of Public Works. Responsible for maintenance of Division records. Create and maintain an automated suspense system to provide status of projects related to correspondence and other actions. Prepare, process and coordinate transactions, identifies related issues, problems or conditions; reports on problems encountered, status of actions and follows transactions through to a successful completion.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be a qualified typist, with the ability to type at least 40 WPM.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
