The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a DoD expert to USSPACECOM on enterprise architectures, cloud computing, and IT Roadmap design and implementation.
Duties
Leads systems analysis for the technical accuracy and integrity of all architectural design and implementation actions for future capabilities.
Develops the enterprise architecture through the integration of complex operations, communications, and computer systems.
Provides advanced enterprise architecture design assessment and analyses.
Develops short and long-range requirements for replacement of existing systems.

Qualifications
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
Incumbent is required to have minimum certification and education required to meet standards outlined in DoD 8140.03, Cyberspace Workforce Qualification And Management Program for the applicable cyber codes namely: 651 - Enterprise Architect, 641 - Systems Requirements Planner, and 802 IT Project Manager. Failure to comply may result in removal from this position.

Experience: Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving AND one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-13 (or equivalent in other pay systems) which includes application of a wide range of IT theories, concepts, principles, practices, procedures, policies, standards, operational requirements, and performance characteristics which are used to analyze, plan, schedule, and coordinate the development of IT solutions. Ability to develop and implement innovative approaches to resolve unusual/difficult issues significantly impacting command-wide policies or programs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
In-depth knowledge of a wide range IT theories, concepts, principles, practices, procedures, policies, standards, operational requirements, and performance characteristics which are used to analyze, plan, schedule, and coordinate the development of IT solutions.
Expert knowledge of the latest advances in enterprise architecture theories, research, methods, principles, and techniques from private industry, research organizations, and the federal government management to include knowledge of modern software and systems design practices, development, and test processes and standards.
Knowledge of lifecycle management concepts, cost benefit analysis, acquisition and procurement techniques, and factors that must be included when determining the cost effectiveness or integrating new technology into existing systems or new systems during the acquisition phase.
Comprehensive knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of Department of Defense and other entities that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process and integrated life cycle management.
Ability to develop and implement innovative approaches to resolve unusual/difficult issues significantly impacting command-wide policies or programs. Skilled in project management and systems management techniques, principles, and practices while having the ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy to make recommendations to higher organizational management and contractors.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses and organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation). Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
