The primary purpose of this position COMMUNITY RESILIENCE COORDINATOR NH-0301-02 is to serve as conduit to installation unit, group and Wing Commander (CC/CCs)/Director (CL/CLs) for employee RESILIENCE AND READINESS matters.

Duties

Manage the units resilience and readiness programs. Perform evidence-based outreach to provide resources and referral information to unit personnel. Organize and oversee the units peer support network. Assist the installation Community Action Team (CAT) in executing established initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Applicant must have, or within 120 days, will have at least 3 years of general experience, 1 year of which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level, pay band (NH-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc). General experience is described as aiding others with leading peer-to-peer support networks, serve as non-clinical point of consultation for resource and referral and provide outreach and marketing for available community and on-base services; assisting with analyzing and evaluating issues related to unit resilience and readiness, participating in the development of action plans as related to organizational climate. OR EDUCATION: Applicant must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Applicant must have equivalent combinations of successfully completed post high school education and experience directly related to the work of the position as outlined above that meets the requirements of the position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of available community resource on and off the installation (i.e. Military & Family Readiness Center, Employee Assistance Program, Civilian Health Promotion Services, Sexual Assault Prevention & Response, etc.) Knowledge of computers: Computer system/software, databases, and statistical techniques. Skill in preparing and presenting large and small group training events with the ability to adapt material based on a variety of audiences. Ability to develop and present reports for senior leadership. Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel, including senior leadership, with tact, courtesy, diplomacy and professionalism. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
