Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Serve as the key advisor on and expert in the analysis, evaluation, and improvement of the efficiency of internal administrative activities and operations.
Research and or analyze problems, issues, or program requirements.
Independently, or as a member of a team, conduct broad or specific studies and assess results relevant to workforce goals and objectives.
Conduct detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes of line, administrative or technical programs and makes recommendations for improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and work operations.
Develop analytical and statistical reports of acquisition data.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Reviewing, evaluating, and recommending modifications to workforce objectives and priorities.; AND
Applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems.; AND
Conducting studies or reviews relevant to organizational goals and objectives; AND
Participating in special projects, ongoing analyses, investigations, and initiatives.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
