The primary purpose of this position is to: Serve as the primary Program Manager for the Department of the Air Force Office of the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel (Acquisition Integrity); provides and executes management support, provides critical support for communication, document flow, and other necessary management support to ensure efficient operation.
Duties
As the Program Manager, independently manages, plans, and supports the AIP program, including interlacing with other HAF-level offices on tasks and joint initiatives. Develops, presents and defends positions for improving the efficiency and productivity of the AIP.
Responsible for management and support or the Fraud Risk Oversight mission, including data analytics, trends analysis, and tasks of interfacing with and assisting other HAF-leve1 offices on joint initiatives.
Conducts intensive and continuous needs assessment for professional and administrative support essential to the accomplishment of the mission; manages office budget, supplies and equipment and addresses facility issues as needed.
Independently performs research, analysis, and drafting al the request of attorneys on various subject matters within SAF/GCR's areas of responsibility, and prepares memoranda and analysis as appropriate.
Functions as the formal SAF/GCR Records Custodian; oversees fie management and creating and/or formatting required for office records and reports. Independently coordinates and tracks all Freedom or 1nformation Act (FO.A) requests and responses.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS 5-11 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include: applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identifying, considering, and resolving office management or administrative issues or problems (particularly of a procedural nature); utilizing knowledge of funds management procedures; management and support of the Acquisition Integrity Program and Fraud Risk Oversight mission; performs research, analysis, and drafting at the request of attorneys.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of office administration and management. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identifying, considering, and resolving office management or administrative issues or problems (particularly of a procedural nature).
2. Working knowledge of federal government Department of Defense and Air Force organization, structure, and chain of command; general knowledge of federal and Air Force operating guidelines. Of particular benefit is knowledge of records management, including FOIA.
3. Practical knowledge management and information retrieval, particularly including computer database search and Internet search for both records and data relevant to job functions.
4. Ability to operate various computer systems and standard business software, particularly Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and Adobe (PDF), and associated peripheral equipment. Must include the ability to create and utilize documents (Word), databases, spreadsheets and presentation graphics in support of transactions and presentations intended for a senior/high visibility audience.
5. Demonstrated organizational skills as to office procedures, file/records creation and maintenance, juggling multiple tasks and priorities and keeping track of assignments; Skill in written and oral communication. Knowledge of interpersonal and public communication skills sufficient to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Experience/skill in interacting with senior level officials.
6. Ability to independently analyze information, determine action needed to address, and follow through either to obtain additional guidance or take action to complete tasks/projects; knowledge of funds management procedures, limitations on funds usage, record keeping and reporting and auditing requirements.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
