This position is in the Department of Health and Human Services, Program Support Center (PSC), Federal Occupational Health (FOH), located in Rockville, Maryland.
Duties
As the Records and Information Management (RIM) Specialist, you will provide advice and assistance to internal and external customers on record management issues.
You will serve as the subject-matter expert responsible for managing the creation, storage, and disposition of records.
You will ensure the organization’s records management practices are in compliance with applicable laws and federal regulations.

Qualifications
You must demonstrate you meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below.
Specialized Experience, GS-12
You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (3) of the (5) duties listed below:
Administering an organization-wide record and information management project or program.
Communicating with stakeholders to obtain information and documents that are required for records and information management.
Participating in planning records evaluations or audits of records to ensure adherence to policies related to retention and disposition of records.
Drafting documents, including written policies, procedures, or file plans, that are used for records and information management.
Drafting training materials and training staff to manage records and adhere to compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Specialized Experience, GS-13
You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (4) of the (5) duties listed below:
Leading organization-wide record and information management projects and programs.
Communicating with stakeholders to obtain information and documents that are required for records and information management.
Developing tools for evaluating and auditing records to ensure policies related to retention and disposition of records is adhered to.
Developing documents, including written policies and procedures, training materials, and file plans, that are used for records and information management.
Ensuring staff are fully trained to manage records effectively and in compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
