- A one-year probationary period may be required.

- This is a bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

You must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is defined as: Specialized experience is defined as: (1) providing advice and guidance to senior leadership and program managers on all phases of budget formulation, budget execution, financial management, and cost analysis; (2) possessing the ability to lead the analysis of complex budget data, including the ability to handle large datasets and deliver complex quantitative analyses using advanced features of Microsoft Excel, including pivot table reports and charting tools for management covering the status of funds, obligation and expense projections; (3) developing strategic financial operating plans for the Agency/Organization including salaries and expenses and monitoring and revising as appropriate; and (4) providing interpretations on such matters as appropriations law and budget polices and providing technical guidance on the development of budgets, cost analysis, and fiscal policies.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
