The primary purpose of this position is to perform studies involving quantitative and quantitative data analysis of all the shops under the assigned maintenance organization. Providing analysis of current operations, identification of problem areas, and recommendations for improvement within the production flight.
Duties
Plans, organizes, analyzes, and manages productivity programs and resources that impact industrial/facility functions and activities.
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies
Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the General experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, three years of progressively responsible general experience, one year of experience which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level, pay band (NH-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc). Typically, we would find this experience in work within this field that is closely related.
General Experience is described as experience demonstrating the ability to: 1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) plan and organize work; and 3) communicate effectively orally and in writing.
In addition to meeting the General experience requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as performing analysis of data, conducting reviews and maintaining accurate records. Developing goals and objectives that integrate organization and logistics related objectives. Identifying the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
Knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
Knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.
Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
