As a Senior Financial Management Analyst, you will review, evaluate, and recommend improvements in financial methods and data; and plan and coordinate with service and staff offices for financial program activities. Location of position: General Services Administration, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Location Negotiable After Selection

Duties
This position has job functions that must be executed within a specific geographic location. The official duty station is a federal facility, leased space, or an alternative worksite (typically the employee’s home). Positions include routine telework and remote work arrangements that are geographically specific to: Denver, CO; Ft. Worth, TX; Kansas City, MO; Philadelphia, PA; and Washington, DC. The duty station will be determined upon selection and will be located within the geographic area described.

- Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable

The GS-14 salary range starts at $122,198 per year. Locality will be determined based on duty location.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience leading and/or conducting financial data management and reporting initiatives (planning, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating policies, processes, and methods) to improve business operations and program delivery. This experience must include:
maintaining and making recommendations for improvement of financial systems and operations;
utilizing data management techniques (acquiring, validating, storing, and processing data) to monitor program activities;
collecting and processing program data using analytics (discovery, interpretation and communication of data findings) to plan and coordinate project activities; and
using a wide-range of tools and techniques to support end-user consumption, facilitate organizational efficiencies, and drive strategic outcomes.
