This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Performance Planning and CFO in one of the locations listed above. This position serves as the Division Director responsible for data analytics, data transparency and data strategy for SBA.

Denver, CO - $151,657 - $183,500
Washington, D.C. - $155,700 - 183,500
Responsible for creating and executing an enterprise data strategy and optimizing the use of data across functional areas. Ensures data quality, data transparency, governance, as well as consistent and effective use of data for analytic reporting.
Responsible for leveraging data insights that help drive strategic and tactical business decisions and serves as the champion for a data-driven, decision-making culture.
Supervises a staff consisting of various data practitioners including Data Scientists, Computer Scientists, and Data Analysts. As a supervisor, delegates responsibility for data management and governance matters and sets priorities including quarterly and annual goals.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen.
- You must be a current SBA career/conditional competitive service employee.
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You may be required to serve a one-year supervisory probationary period.
Qualifications
GS-15: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: advising leadership on data management; and support data related program objectives; and lead initiatives that support agency mission. All qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume.
