You will serve as an Administrative Specialist in the Purchase Card oversight Division of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will assist in administering the NIWC Pacific Purchase Card Program on behalf of the Head of Activity (HA). You will provide training to Cardholders (CHs) and Approving Officials (AOs) on purchase card policy and procedures. You will interpret, research, and implement policies and regulations related to the Purchase Card Program from a variety of sources. You will teach CHs and AOs how to execute and reconcile purchases in Navy Enterprise Resource Program (NERP). You will perform audits of purchases flagged by Bank Card Audit Tool on a monthly basis to ensure policy and procedures were followed. You will create new accounts in PC bank, NERP and ensure accounts are closed in a timely fashion when no longer needed.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: administering Government Purchase Card Program functions such as: auditing transactions, training, oversight of various types of purchase card transactions. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
