About the Position:Serve as the principal Strategic Planning Officer to plan, develop, and monitor implementation of plans, policies, procedures, and guidance for Garrison to assist with organization improvements; provide means of measuring process improvements; and achieve quantum improvements in organization efficiency and effectiveness.
Duties
Directs and manages top level, high visibility efforts involving strategic business planning, continuous improvement issues and/or program integration.
Acts as the Garrison Commander's Continuous Improvement Champion/Change Agent and leads the Garrison Staff to make recommendations for process improvement and analysis of processes for problem areas and solutions
Manages customer feedback initiatives and systems to document and evaluate results of productivity and quality management programs and installation improvement strategies.
Ensures strategic deployment methodologies address how the organization's key business drivers are deployed, information technology enterprise solutions are achieved, and that key measures of the organization's performance are projected.
Develops and assigns goals and objectives to supervisors and managers of subordinate organizational units.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
