Duties

Analyze data compiled to recommend policy changes, procedural modifications, and reorganization/restructure of the hospital’s work centers. Plan and advise on implementation of new ideas, procedures, processes, methods or approaches of substantial scope, difficulty, and complexity in areas of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement initiatives Analyzes existing medical treatment facility operations; recommends adjustments to policies, programs, projects and studies to resolve problems and to improve operations and efficiencies Plan and schedule work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities Gather statistical and financial data to assist with financial reporting, revenue cycle management, strategic planning processes, program development and evaluation of activities. Perform cost accounting tasks associated with receiving, analyzing, recording, reconciling, reporting, interpretation and distribution of accounting and statistical data.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
  • Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
