About the Position: US Army NORTH (ARNORTH) is the Army service component command (ASCC) to USNORTHCOM (a unified combatant command) and a direct reporting unit of HQDA. Located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Leads and Manages the Senior Commander's Ready and Resilient Program (R2C), including coordinating and synchronizing programs and initiatives addressing all aspects of R2C, such as Holistic Health, Health Promotion, Wellness, and Resiliency. Develop and lead an R2C collaborative process that assesses Soldiers' behavioral, physical, social, and spiritual needs, and assists them in developing individualized holistic health programs to optimize their capabilities and performance. Identifies gaps and redundancies in the R2C Program, determines possible solutions, researches resources, tests new initiatives, assesses results, and ensures results are provided to appropriate entities for possible use across the Army and DoD. Interprets the impact of Congressional, Office of Secretary of Defense, and HQDA actions, directives, and policies upon Well-Being programs and coordinates with officials from various government and non-government agencies and organizations.
