You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION, PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
Duties
You will produce advanced Program budgets, execute spend plans, and prepare supporting documents in various formats.
You will coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), collecting data and information, to manage dynamic spend plans.
You will effectively diagnose team performance situations and use appropriate interventions to guide, coach, and counsel team members and advise supervisor of critical performance issues and team requirements.
You will provide advanced support to Division, Department, and Command Financial Managers in setting up Network Activities, links them to Sales Orders in ERP, and tracks expenditures.
You will utilize advanced techniques, analytics, and business intelligence tools to extract, analyze, and present data from data systems responding to special projects requests from internal and external customers.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, developing, and utilizing financial management methods and procedures to assess internal controls and provide technical direction on reconciling appropriated funding issues ensuring the efficiency of an organization's financial operations.
