About the Position: Serves as Management and Program Analyst performing a variety of analytical and evaluative work in support of the organizational Internal Controls Program, Support Agreements and other command programs. Establishes milestones for the receipt of information; ensures that agreements are thorough; resources are assessed, documented and available; regulatory guidelines are satisfied; and mutual consent and understanding of all participants is established.
Duties
Provide guidance and consultation to Directors and Staff Principles on appropriate policies and procedures to mitigate and control inherent risks in management processes.
Manages various command programs (i.e. audit, Continuity of Operations Program Representative (COOP) inventory, etc.)
Assist the organization into translating results of meetings and negotiation sessions into a logical and concise support agreement.
Manages the RMICP to include the formulation, development, methodology, and publication of policies and instructions which provide guidance for the implementation of the internal management controls required for operation of the program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the federal service which demonstrate experience working with a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes and systems; Developing and implementing policies, directives and other guidance related to risk management, management controls and audit readiness; Analyzing and evaluating methods and management techniques in order to audit data inputs, plan, organize and direct complex analyses within the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
