You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Specialist in the Prototype, Manufacturing & SE & Test Division, PM Department, Manufacturing Operations Branch of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Duties

You will evaluate the manufacturing and assembly of Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Aviation support equipment. You will assess manufacturing and repair/overhaul projects against capabilities of production shops. You will provide technical assistance regarding the manufacturing, repair, and assembly of ALRE and support equipment. You will prepare workload forecasts and personnel attrition/hiring plans.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-02 pay band or GS-06/08 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluate the manufacturing and assembly of ALRE and Aviation support equipment to ensure proper steps are being taken; 2) Assess manufacturing and repair projects against capabilities of production shops to determine if new projects can be undertaken; 3) Prepare workload forecasts that incorporates the efficient use of materials and equipment for use in maintaining ALRE systems; 4) Provide technical assistance regarding the manufacturing, repair, and assembly of ALRE and support equipment to assist team members through difficult problems. Education

In place of experience, applicants may also qualify based on education:

Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree and your major study was in business, industrial management, engineering, applied sciences, or other fields related to the position.
OR
have successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree and your major study was in business, industrial management, engineering, applied sciences, or other fields related to the position.
OR
LL.B. or J.D., that is related to the position being filled.
OR
have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.

Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications (https://www.ed.gov/). Therefore, provide only the attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
