You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Communications & Information Systems, OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FACILITY.
Duties
You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of networks, systems, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems.
You will provide cybersecurity recommendations to the COMPACFLT HQ and COMPACFLT subordinate leadership and coordinates with numerous
Department of Defense and Department of Navy entities.
You will serve as the COMPACFLT fleet facing single point of contact to acquire Pacific Fleet cybersecurity situational awareness.
You will report Pacific Fleet Cybersecurity events to numerous individuals and entities.
You will provide briefings, presentations, written reports, information products, and other communications to the staff and executive leadership for events, incidents, or key initiatives involving cybersecurity in the Pacific Fleet.
You will develop and present cybersecurity operational plans to senior staff, executive leadership, and senior/adjacent/subordinate organizations.
You will develop and maintain detailed standard operating procedures and provide cyber security training to CPF Echelon III Information System Security Manager (ISSM) who are active-duty sailors, and/or government civilians.
You will perform the duties of a COMPACFLT fleet ISSM responsible for acquiring cyber situational awareness, operational impacts, reporting cyber events, and advising leadership of cyber responses.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position; work role code 722 (Information Systems Security Manager-Intermediate). You will be required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and DON policies.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the integrity and availability of network systems, by analyzing Information Assurance/Cyber Security programs to mitigate vulnerabilities in information networks. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
