Duties
You will serve as the IT Customer Support Subject Matter Expert, delivering technical support services to meet customer needs, both remotely and on-site.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless customer satisfaction.
You will apply extensive knowledge of IT practices and policies to develop new solutions and refine existing processes.
You will conduct comprehensive analyses and recommend innovative approaches to solve intricate technical problems.
You will prepare and present detailed reports, briefings, and status updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of findings.
You will manage fleet support resources, ensuring efficient scheduling, funding allocation, and personnel coordination.
You will lead technical exchanges with the CSRR IPT Lead, providing insights and advice to guide project success and resolve issues.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 411 level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Utilize analytical skills, evaluation techniques, and re-engineering methods to assess the technical, financial, and programmatic implications of prospective IT endeavors.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manage stakeholder requirements from internal/external agencies helping execute and accomplish organizational goals and objectives.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the workforce communicating organizational goals and objectives while aligning with the command's initiatives.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: analysis, reporting, coordinating, and facilitating working groups to meet and resolve project objectives.
In addition:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead IT customer support, resolve technical issues, manage fleet resources, and deliver CSRR system support, including design, testing, and sustainment. Responsibilities include reporting, project management, and advising stakeholders.
