Duties
You will remove, install, repair and rebuild cylinder heads, cylinder blocks, and oil pumps.
You will repair and overhaul brake systems including mechanical, hydraulic, air over hydraulic, direct air and vacuum over hydraulic.
You will repair and overhaul conventional and front drive axles.
You will replace related component parts including pressure plates, discs, release bearings and sleeves, and pilot bearings.
You will rebuild, install and adjust water pumps, shutters and shutter state.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid Class B Virginia CDL within 6 months of employment.
- You will be required to hold an ASE master certifications in heavy truck and automotive.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: the ability to lead or supervise passing on to others workers the instructions received from the supervisor; ensuring that needed materials, part and tools are available; checking work in progress to ensure that instructions have been followed and met; repair, overhaul and install mechanical, hyraulic and electrical components to diagnose all type of malfunctions.
