Duties
This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, Orphaned Wells Program Office, Grants Management & Coordination Division in Washington D.C. or Denver, CO.
At the full performance level GS-15, the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
1. The position exercises the full range of supervisory responsibilities and is responsible for both short- and long-range planning. Provides guidance on problematic cases of an unusual or controversial nature: new policies, regulations, and concepts. Plans and assigns work to division staff based on overall mission, goals, objectives, priorities, skillsets, and manpower available.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series to which you are applying.
Specialized Experience
To qualify for the GS-15, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience:
1) overseeing all phases of the grant management lifecycle from review of application to grant closeout;
2) evaluating financial data to develop programmatic reports to ensure accomplishment of program objectives;
and 3) supervising or leading a diverse team of professionals to meet project milestones and objectives.
