Duties
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, the difficulty of the work to be performed, and the capabilities of employees.
You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed.
You will develop performance standards for subordinates.
You will supervise personnel engaged in the design and development of local and Marine Corps wide calibration procedures for both automated and manual calibration of a wide variety of complex and often unique calibration systems.
You will ensure that personnel develop complete calibration procedures based on manufacturers specifications, manuals, drawings, sketches, flow diagrams, and other instructions.
You will provide practical technical assistance to personnel offering recommendations based on broad experience with and knowledge of various calibration systems and TMDE.
You will review and approve software coding concepts based on engineer conceptual drawings, sketches, flow diagrams, and instructions.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You may be recalled to duty outside normal working hours.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning work and carrying out assignments; Unusual or controversial problems, or policy questions arising in the course of a project or assignment may be discussed with the supervisor; recommendations, plans, designs, reports, or correspondence is reviewed for general adequacy, conformity to the purpose of the assignment, and sound engineering judgment,
