This position is located in Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection (DCP) and is responsible for performing qualitative and/or quantitative analysis to assist management in and reporting on current and emerging issues in consumer protection and economic inclusion.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-09, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-07 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience gathering data and generating reports to assist management in evaluating the effectiveness of a Division's administrative or technical program.
OR
EDUCATION: To qualify based on education; applicants must possess a Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.B. or J.D., if related.
OR
COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the CG-09 level.
To qualify for the CG-11, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-09 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience generating reports and reviewing data to identify discrepancies in order to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the Division administrative and technical programs.
OR
EDUCATION: To qualify based on education; applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.M., if related.
OR
COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the CG-11 level.
