About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 Resource Integ Dir Budget Execution Div, located at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.
Duties
Perform complex research, writing, briefing, and staff coordination tasks.
Serve as subject matter expert in the areas of Army Military Intelligence and National Intelligence Programs budgeting, and budget execution and internal review functions for intelligence resources.
Provide daily guidance to military, civilians, and contractors performing budget execution and financial analysis.
Review intelligence financial guidance and takes appropriate action.
Plans work to be accomplished, sets and adjusts short and medium-term priorities and prepares schedules for subordinates.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Must obtain and maintain TOP SECRET Security Clearance based on single scope background investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- Must sign a statement attesting to the understanding of CIPMS/DCIPS provisions as indicated in AR 690-13.
- Must perform temporary duty (TDY) travel in CONUS or OCONUS 25% of the time.
- Must obtain and maintain Financial Management Level 3 certification.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450.
