This position is located in the Small Business Administration, GCBD-AreaOffice-HQ in Washington, D.C. This position serves as a seasoned analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of SBA programs and resulting effectiveness issues. The incumbent is primarily concerned with a wide variety of assignments that deal with planning, analyzing, and/or evaluating the effectiveness of line or operating programs.
Duties
Performance Management - Manages a portfolio of SBA's development initiatives, providing oversight, and evaluation of performance of initiatives through monitoring quarterly milestones, reviewing quarterly reports to identify problems and issues; conducting site visits, providing training, and resolving problems.
Serves as an expert who provides senior leadership with program evaluation results that are utilized in the resource management process for greater program effectiveness.
Budget - Coordinates or performs all aspects of the formulation, justification, presentation, execution, and review of the
total budget for assigned programs.
Administration Management - Serves as master timekeeper processing a variety of pay actions; and interpreting and/or applying regulatory or procedural requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: 1. performing work that demonstrates experience researching and analyzing organizational structure, assigning functional responsibilities, internal controls, records management, and personnel and budget related actions and the impact of each on the efficiency and effectiveness of operations; and 2. training or providing technical guidance or direction to others.
