About the Position: Serves as the S6 Team Lead in the Mission Support Directorate, U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC). This position involves oversight and operation of PC/Microsoft-based Local Area Networks and intranet servers.

Duties

Provides S6 Team Leader duties with the responsibility for the administration of multiple file servers, storage area networks and services. Manages and maintains the file servers, workstations, operating systems and network application software. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system/network administration. Manages network backups, operating system security patches, anti-virus software and signature files to assure maximum security of property and data. Responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting and executing assigned technology. Determines the software requirements and provides it through authorized procurements. Team leader duties include the following ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies. Works with DoD acquisition and life cycle management policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Special Sensitive/High Risk, Sensitive Compartmented Information. Intelligence Community Directive 704 security clearance.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
