You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Technical Data Department of Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), Fleet Support Team.
Duties
You will develop technical data processes for an organization.
You will develop and implement strategies to overcome obstacles in the execution of contingency operations identified in a logistics supportability analysis.
You will improve system development or sustainment by implementing new integrated logistics support (ILS) management operations.
You will negotiate logistics issues for assigned systems, equipment, platforms, or programs.
You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedures.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Ensuring the quality of technical data services, facilitating personnel training essential for supporting relevant programs, and developing and sustaining Standards Work Packages (SWPs) and Standards Skills Packages (SSPs); 2) Spearheading initiatives aimed at simplifying and streamlining processes through the effective utilization of advanced tools and methodologies; 3) Providing guidance and consultation to the COMFRC FST HQ Technical Data Department Head, FSTs, and Technical Manual Logistic Element Managers (LEMS) regarding all aspects of Technical Manual sustainment and execution; 4) Providing technical expertise required to maintain COMFRC FST HQ Technical Data team functions to ensure supportability, and affordability and identify required resources necessary to enable the COMFRC HQ FST Technical Data team to successfully complete all assigned goals, tasks, and objectives; 5) Identifying mitigation strategies to avoid risks associated with programs' technical manual development and sustainment approaches and/or use of non- standard logistics product data product formats, processes, or tools; 6) Contributing to the formulation of strategies by forging partnerships with government entities, academia, and industry stakeholders, leveraging innovative methodologies and techniques to enhance the value proposition of Team Products and services while driving overall division efficiency.
